We are a Malagasy Based tour operator in Antsirabe / Madagascar. We are Malagasy and live in Madagascar; we operate only in our beautiful country. Our services are specialised to Nature tours, bike tours and adventure trips. The tours are to the south and the west of the island, trekking, going down the Tsiribihina River by traditional pirogue, visits to the national parks of Tsingy de Bemaraha, Ranomafana, Isalo … and natural reserves, camping … adventure, cycling and cultural trips, birdwatching … our services provided in English, French and German language. The tours and excursions are popular and high quality. If there are special requests, do not hesitate to ask us. We also can customise our tours to your request, as we commonly do.We want to make our tours a positive force. We pay attention to small details. Please ask about details concerning you. Madagascar is a unique place and certainly an experience that should be on every adventurous traveller’s list of things to do. It is a land of extremely diverse natural beauty, ranging from verdant rainforests to craggy sandstone and beautiful sandy beaches. Then there’s the wildlife. Wildlife enthusiasts have always counted this as one of the world’s special places. The amazing thing is that encounters with wildlife are often very close ones: lemurs big and small don‘t seem to run away, but just stare back at you with their big round eyes.

Chameleons are also quite happy to climb up your arm and more, if you let them. And do not forget the birds. That makes Madagascar a unique experience for wildlife. There is also the novelty of travelling in a country that sees very few tourists. Putting up with power outages and poor roads is tempered by the fact that travellers get to absorb a slow and relaxed pace of life where no one ever seems to do anything in a hurry. The Malagasy have a commonly–used word for this – ‘mora mora’, which means ‘slowly, slowly‘.

Madagascar Team Leader

I am Lucien Rajoarison; I have been working as a tour guide and designer since 2006, after completing my studies in agro-ecotourism. I work as a national tour guide for 10 years, before starting my own tour company. Thanks to the encouragement and work of experienced friends, we formed Madanature bike tours. I am fortunate to be the manager.

Step by step we are experienced guides and doing what we love and challenge is us. We believe in the idea that you succeed best when doing something you really enjoy, taking to heart that phrase out of the song / movie «Take your passion, and make it happen ! “. We challenge ourselves to offer more and more well organised tours with higher and higher qualities, because we want our guest to have the best experience in Mada and to tell the world!

I felt well cared for; with great food, comfy accommodations, all the quality gear we needed and all the trip details taken care off. Guide and bike mechanic

Hi, I’m Tojo, I am 37 years old and married, a Father of 3 beautiful children. From my childhood, bike pensioned me, not only ride with my friends but maintaining bike is one of my favourite hobby. We have a MTB club in Antsirabe and I am among of the first responsible, we ride every Saturday and here I meat Lucien. He was interested about how I lead the tour and handle the little mechanic problems during the ride and he decided to invite me to join Madanature bike tours ‘team. I have been working as bike mechanic and cook since 2014, but after more than 7 years on tour I became tour guide as well. I want to share my know-how and experiences with you, and serve you fresh fruits and vegetables during our ride.

I grew up and still live in Antsirabe, Madagascar, a country that has always been a brew of vastly different cultures. It has fuelled my fascination for the different cultures of the world, both ancient and modern.
After university I worked in a hospital centre and was responsible for financial management. In 2007 I decided to pander again to my love of travel and dislike of the great indoors and I returned to tour management.
I like riding, hiking, camping and I’m driver in same time
My favourite places are found on the west coast of Madagascar. These easily reachable areas still retain their original unique character with fantastic scenery and hospitable people. I speak French and English

My name is Solofo. I’ve been working as a local tour guide in Madagascar about 8 years. Obviously, I love traveling, biking, enthusiastically proud to show, and talking the beauty of the Island, to interact with the local people and nature. We know Stephen since 2010, he has small bike shop to repair bikes and shell spare parts. Due to that, most of the bikers in our city knows his place. It becomes like the meeting point for local riders. He has great sense for organisation and an excellent knowledge for bikes. Steph speaks Malagasy and understand English.

Junior Tour Guide

My name is Tiavina, I am the youngest in the team, I am still student but during my holidays I enjoy traveling. Family trips and bike tours are among of my favourites, my main works on tour are room check inn and out, preparation of the table during our picnics. I am also fast enough to pitch tents and happy to give hand to prepare dinner in the camp for our trekking tours.
